MyMise
Menu checking for cafes.
Fuzzy-matches a cafe’s counter, QR and Uber Eats menus, then runs nine rules for price, size, add-on and description gaps. It found all 13 problems in the pilot cafe’s menus.

- Began as a four-person CDU capstone that I led as team lead, and now runs as a live product.

- Isolation
- Each business’s data is walled off with PostgreSQL row-level security. Tests fail if one business can see another’s data.
- Auth
- Email code, Google, Microsoft or passkey sign-in (OpenID Connect, WebAuthn) with invites for owner, manager, staff and viewer roles.
- Clients
- One Expo / React Native codebase covers phone, tablet and web.
- Ops
- Azure in Australia (Container Apps, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Blob Storage) for about US$30 a month. Every push runs 100+ tests against a real PostgreSQL database, plus type checks and linting.

MyUniLink
The verified student network.
Students prove who they are with a code sent to their uni email, then run societies, join groups on campus or across universities, RSVP to events and message privately over encrypted chat.

- Built with a team I led. Live for CDU and Torrens students.

- Team lead. I wrote the requirements specification (ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148, 85+ functional requirements) that opened it to more universities.

- Every member proves they are a student with a one-time code sent to their university email. Verified status follows them into every group, event and chat, so there are no anonymous accounts.
- Groups
- University groups can stay on one campus or open to every verified student, and public groups welcome anyone. Organisers run events with capacity, RSVPs, calendar links and an attendee chat.
- Chat
- Encrypted private and group messaging in real time over Socket.IO, with permissions scoped by group, campus and role, audit logs, account lockout after failed logins and JWT authentication.
- Multi-uni
- Built for more than one university from day one: a new university is a new verified email domain. Requirements cover Privacy Act 1988 and Spam Act 2003 obligations.
- Stack
- TypeScript monorepo with Express 5, Prisma (20 data models), Zod validation and Swagger docs. API on AWS EC2, database on Amazon RDS in Sydney, frontend on Vercel, deployed through GitHub Actions.
