03 — Leadership & volunteering

Rooms, rosters,rainy nights.

108 volunteer hours, two committee roles, a team-lead role at Vivid and a paid student-leader job at CDU. Two selected event proposals, and one lost child found safe. Leadership here means the unglamorous bits: break schedules, dietary spreadsheets and knowing the floor limit.

Vivid Sydney 2026 · Casual Hands

Team Leader for 4 of 6 shifts, a different crew of 8 to 16 every night.

Set break times, moved people between posts as crowds shifted, and kept the team going on rainy nights. Handled two missing-person cases: helped a man find his wife, who was new to Sydney, and helped find a lost child, who turned up safe in the nearby kids’ area.
